Maintenance system Engineer – Gothenburg

Floatel International AB is a Swedish company established in 2006. We own and operate five semi-submersible offshore accommodation vessels, all delivered between 2010 and 2016. Our fleet is designed and equipped for the increased demands set by new challenging projects in deep water and hostile environments around the world. Our vessels are currently operating off Australia, UK and Norway.

We are now looking to employ one Maintenance System Engineer to our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

As a Maintenance System Engineer you will be part of our Technical Department, work closely together with the other members of the department and have daily contact with crewmembers offshore. We are currently in a phase where we will start develop and implement a new Maintenance Management System (MMS) to enhance analyzing of maintenance data as well as improve support for efficient onboard maintenance planning, reporting and purchasing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We use the SIS STAR Maintenance Management System but will now transit to IFS for Maintenance Management as part of a larger ERP project including Purchasing, Finance and Accounting. You will take part in the implementation of the new system as well as provide support to crews and other users of the current and the new systems. You will also be responsible to perform maintenance analysis and implement improvement in the maintenance databases.


Experience from CMMS management and support. If you have knowledge of SQL databases it is an advantage. We prefer if you also have experience from working onboard, preferably as an engineer. We expect you to have an engineering degree or similar.
